A property developer’s view of our planet.

I drew this in response to regularly seeing billboards for new housing estates with descriptions that seem to bear no resemblance to the surrounding countryside.  Using terms like “Heights” when there isn’t even the smallest hill within 10 kilometres or “Lake” when there is only a tiny stream running through the area that has been dammed to form little more than a glorified pond.  In themselves these descriptions seem absurd but perhaps they are a metaphor for how we view our environment, painting a utopian picture that does not match the reality of the rampant environmental destruction that is going on around us.
