Given the incontestable data evidence that the planet is gradually warming and the almost unanimous agreement amongst climate scientists that this warming is human induced I am astounded to still read reports that many people continue to deny that global warming is happening. Yes the Milankovitch cycles are still in play, swinging the planet’s climate in and out of periods of extreme cold and heat for eons now. And yes climate modelling is an inexact science, so there is no way of accurately predicting future climate trends. But to me at least evidentially the argument is over, this current bout of warming is mainly driven by human activity and natural climate variation has little to do with it. To continue to deny that global warming is not happening is simply nonsensical to me.
