Another cartoon inspired by the book Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt, the central premise of that book being that smart phones and their social media platform connections is what’s driving the epidemic of anxiety amongst teenagers that is currently sweeping the world. One of his assertions is that Facebook does not offer deep personalised friendship connections, something that can only be done in the real world. Healthy friendships are about quality, not quantity.
