Clinching a trade deal with Trump.

TEMPLATE

I think it’s important to firstly point out that there has never been totally free trade, there has always been some tariffs, but when trade agreements have been negotiated in the past there’s usually been some form of quid pro quo agreement where both sides get some benefit.  But Trump’s idea of a trade deal is to use the size and might of America to batter trade deals out of other countries that strongly if not totally favour America.  It leaves other countries no option but to kowtow to Trump’s demands or enter into a tariff trade war, which could end up being similar to the trade war that occurred during the 1930s depression.
