Scared cows.

I drew this cartoon this in response to the furore over Labor’s proposal to curb negative gearing tax concessions for property investors.  While negative gearing is not the only factor influencing the high cost of housing it is nevertheless a factor.  But any attempt to curb negative gearing elicits such strong opposition that it appears to me that it has attained the status of a sacred cow.
