The time to talk about global warming.

I originally drew this cartoon back in 2019 in response to a recuring refrain when Australia was experiencing extreme weather events that now (when various communities were in crisis as  result of these events) was not the time to talk about global warming, implying that should be left until the crisis had passed.

I had thought that by 2024 even the most diehard sceptics at least partially acknowledged that global warming was occurring in some form, but the colder than average weather at the start of winter brought out the same old utterances that this was proof that global warming was not happening.

Sadly this cartoon is still relevant five years on.
